Salmonics had an exciting start to the new year thanks to the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) Conference in January!
Hosted at the San Diego Convention Center, our team was able to network with other innovative companies and share our vision for a more sustainable future using our fish-derived biomedical products.
As part of SLAS 2025, Salmonics was selected as an Innovation AveNEW participant where our kiosk was situated with other start-ups eager to advance new technologies for the greater good. One of the most rewarding aspects of the Conference was meeting fellow innovators, learning about their groundbreaking products, and laying the foundation for future collaboration.
A special shoutout to our fantastic booth neighbors, Edwige Guinet and Lucie Jandet of Visienco AG! Additionally, we want to extend our gratitude to Joe Webb and the team at Vitality Robotics for taking the time to discuss the automation of our workflows. It was truly inspiring to be around so many entrepreneurs who are solving today’s problems and improving our future!
Beyond the incredible connections we made, the 2025 SLAS Conference provided an opportunity for us to share our own story and introduce our products to a wider audience. We are excited to continue unlocking the multi-faceted potential of fish-derived proteins. Through our work we are creating better research tools for scientists and developing medical products that leverage the unique healing properties of fish proteins for the benefit of humans and their pets. We are proud of the work we are doing and eager to show how the mammalian pathogen-free, cold-resistant, superior clotting and opioid-free pain relief features of our products can benefit all. From researchers in labs to patients in hospitals or even soldiers on the battlefield, our work is shaping the future of biomedicine.
Thank you to the hardworking SLAS team who made this event possible. We are grateful to Andrea Kielkiewicz, Exhibit and Sponsorship Coordinator; Amy Wilkinson, Director of Global Events & Corporate Partnerships; and Stephanie Salerno, Ph.D., Program Coordinator. Their dedication and efficiency enabled us to focus on making the most of this incredible opportunity.
Thank you, SLAS, for an unforgettable experience!
