General Procedure

Add 0.5 to 1.0 ml sterile de-ionized water and re-hydrate at room temperature or at 4-6°C. Thrombin goes into solution readily. DO NOT HEAT OR SHAKE.

After re-hydration, thrombin can be further diluted to desired level in cell culture medium or other matrix.

Re-hydrated product can be held at 4-6°C for up to 48 hours, or aliquoted and frozen at -80C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Note: This product has been filtered sterilized at 0.22 μm.
