Salmonics joins the first FoodTech Maine cohort hosting its kick-off meeting this week!
Salmonics has been selected to participate in the new FoodTech Maine business accelerator program through The Maine Center for Entrepreneurs and FocusMaine. Several Maine companies will kick off the program the first week of October.
FoodTech Maine aims to improve efficiency and sustainability of businesses that directly impact the food industry at all stages from designing products to distribution. Other focus areas include operations, commercialization, and waste management.
Salmonics will participate in the program’s first cohort which has expanded to include companies supporting the seafood and aquaculture industries. Several other companies will collaborate to use innovation, technology, and science to help support and advance Maine’s food, agriculture, and aquaculture industries.
