Our vision of turning a former US Navy aircraft manufacture space into a laboratory has become reality.
One of the great things about being a small business—within a community that’s centered on innovation and technology acceleration—is that things can happen relatively quickly.
Amid the two-phase acquisition of Sea Run Holdings (December 2020 and July 2021), we established our office at TechPlace in March of 2021. We also joined the Bioscience Association of Maine (BioME) at that time. With assistance from the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority, Maine Technology Institute, Maine Small Business Development Center, and the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs, Dr. Giray found funding and support to develop the company further—expanding into manufacture space within TechPlace, which we have just finished renovating. It is now a fully equipped laboratory for processing, purifying, and packaging our growing product selection.
